How it works
Bridge and Token Sweeper
Bridge and swap with LI.FI routes, or sweep small balances into the native coin of one of 21 networks, paid to your wallet or another address.
Updated 2026-10-10
Overview
The Bridge page has two tabs. Bridge moves one token between networks or swaps it. Sweeper turns many small balances into the native coin of one network. Both use LI.FI routes, every route carries a 0.5% zkCodex fee that is part of the quote, and both earn router XP.
Bridge
- The Bridge tab is LI.FI's widget: pick the network and token you send and the ones you receive, and LI.FI finds the route. Your wallet signs it.
- A link can pick the network and token you start from, but never the receiver. An address in a link is ignored, so a shared link cannot send your bridge to someone else; the receiver is set only in the widget's own form.
- A link to /bridge?sweeper opens the Sweeper tab.
Sweeping tokens
- 01
Pick the tokens
Connect your wallet: its tokens on the networks LI.FI supports are listed, except balances under $0.10. Unverified and spam tokens are listed only after you confirm, a token GoPlus flags as dangerous (a honeypot, a heavy sell tax or a fake token) cannot be picked, and a spam token needs a clean GoPlus check.
- 02
Pick the destination
Choose one of the 21 destination networks. Everything you sweep becomes that network's own native coin, such as POL on Polygon or BNB on BNB Chain, never ETH on a network whose coin is not ETH.
- 03
Choose the recipient
Keep My wallet, or pick Another address (see Recipient below).
- 04
Sweep
Each balance is read on chain right before its quote and approved for exactly that amount. Your wallet confirms the swaps and bridges; how many confirmations depends on your wallet (see Signing below).
Destination networks
| Network | You receive |
|---|---|
| Ethereum | ETH |
| Base | ETH |
| Arbitrum | ETH |
| Optimism | ETH |
| Polygon | POL |
| BNB Chain | BNB |
| Avalanche | AVAX |
| Linea | ETH |
| Scroll | ETH |
| zkSync Era | ETH |
| Unichain | ETH |
| Ink | ETH |
| Soneium | ETH |
| World Chain | ETH |
| Robinhood Chain | ETH |
| Abstract | ETH |
| Katana | ETH |
| Monad | MON |
| HyperEVM | HYPE |
| Gnosis | xDAI |
| Plume | PLUME |
Each destination uses LI.FI's contract pinned in zkCodex. Arc and Celo are not destinations.
Recipient
- My wallet: the sweep pays your connected wallet on the destination network.
- Another address: enter a 0x address, an ENS name or a Basename. A mixed-case address whose checksum does not match and the zero address are refused, and a name shows the address it resolves to.
- Everything swept is then paid to that address on the destination network, by every route, batch and bridge. The warning under the field shows the full address; a transfer cannot be undone.
- If the address is a contract on the destination network, a second warning asks you to send only if it accepts the native coin, as a smart wallet or a multisig does. An EIP-7702 wallet counts as a wallet, not a contract.
- With another address, your native coin on the destination network is listed too. It goes to that address as a plain transfer, with no swap, no bridge and no fee.
- The recipient is set only by what you type, never by a link.
How much of each token
- A selected token sweeps all of it by default.
- The pencil next to a token under Selected Assets sends 25%, 50% or 75% of it, or an exact amount you type; All goes back to the whole balance.
- The share is read on chain when the sweep runs, and the totals count only what is sent.
- A native coin always keeps enough for gas, so a large share may send a little less.
Signing
- Smart wallets that batch, such as Coinbase Smart Wallet: the tokens already on the destination network swap in one confirmation per batch of up to 10 calls. Two or more tokens on another network swap to that network's native coin the same way, then cross in one bridge, together with that network's native coin if you picked it.
- Other wallets, including MetaMask before a smart-account upgrade, sign each token on its own, with one bridge per token from another network.
- Before anything is signed, the receiver, the amount and the destination network are read from the transaction's own data, and its router must be LI.FI's contract pinned in zkCodex. It must pay your wallet or the address you entered, on the network you picked; anything else is refused before your wallet opens.
- Batches and bridges are also simulated and checked against your gas. Your wallet sets the network fee when you sign.
- Each token is swept on its own network: your wallet is asked to switch to it, and to add it first if it does not have that network yet.
- A batch that reverts is quoted again once and then runs token by token.
When a sweep stops halfway
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Unconfirmed | Your wallet took a batch or a token on the destination network, but its confirmation did not arrive in time. It is never sent again; Check again reads its receipt. |
| Awaiting delivery | Your wallet took a bridge, but its confirmation or its delivery did not arrive in time. It is never sent again; Check again reads its receipt or asks LI.FI about the bridge. |
| Swapped | The swaps went through and the tokens are now the native coin of their network, but their bridge was not sent: it was rejected in the wallet, the sweep was stopped, or its transaction could not be read. Retry asks LI.FI for a route again and sends that one bridge. |
| Refund needed | LI.FI could not deliver a bridge and reports it as needing a refund. Its coins left your wallet and are not back yet, so it is never sent again. Track bridge follows the refund on the LI.FI explorer; Check again makes it retryable once the refund arrived. |
| Failed | Nothing was sent, or the transaction reverted. Only then does Retry appear, to try that token again. |
XP
- A bridge or swap on the Bridge tab or in the Sweeper earns router XP: the zkCodex fee it paid in US dollars x 100, as paid XP. A $10 bridge pays $0.05 and earns 5 XP; there is no minimum and no daily limit.
- Only fees paid in the network's native coin or a USD stablecoin count, at that day's price. A fee taken in another token earns nothing, so sweeping odd tokens mostly earns XP on the final bridge.
- After your transaction confirms, zkCodex reads its receipt: LI.FI's contract must name zkCodex, your wallet must have sent it (or, for a smart account, be the receiver), and the fee must reach zkCodex's fee wallet. A sweep paid to another address still earns XP for your wallet, which pays the fee.
- A transaction counts once it is a few blocks deep on its network, about a minute on most networks and two on Ethereum and Polygon. The page claims it for you, within 7 days and before the week or month it falls in becomes final.
- Router XP is not shared with your inviter: the referral bonus covers paid zkCodex contract actions only.
- The daily Bridge or swap task is separate: bridge or swap once, then press Check on the task.
